100 years of Langzauner: How the entire workforce celebrated the anniversary
Recently, the entire Langzauner GmbH team switched their machines for hiking boots and backpacks to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary in style! Destination: the Almstadl in Wagrain – at an altitude of 1,666 meters, where the air is thin and the humor is thick. But before heading into the mountains, there was a stopover at Hangar 7 in Salzburg. There, between artfully designed airplanes and helicopters, the team felt for a moment as if they were in the heaven of technology enthusiasts. After an extensive tour and the obligatory group photo in front of one of the gleaming jets, we continued on towards Wagrain.
Once we arrived in Wagrain, we strapped on our rucksacks and set off on the hike to the Almstadl. For some it was a welcome sporting challenge, for others it was more of an exercise in patience, with pauses for breath every few meters. But the view and the fresh mountain air made the walk well worthwhile.
Once at the top, the group was greeted not only by rustic charm and a meter of fresh snow, but also by hearty food and cool drinks. The mood quickly rose and it soon became clear that this excursion would not only be a day of hiking, but also a day of celebration. It wasn’t long before the Almstadl was filled with cheerful laughter and singing.
Summary of the excursion: “We can build PERFECT facilities – but we can party just as well!”
As the sun slowly set and the lights of the Almstadl lit up the night, the atmosphere was at its peak. One or two colleagues even claimed to have seen the stars dancing – whether this was due to the brandy or the clear mountain air is debatable. What is certain is that the team enjoyed the evening to the last minute, swapping stories and celebrating their shared experiences from previous years.
At the end of the day, everyone agreed that this trip was not only a celebration of the company’s long history, but also a moment that strengthened collegiality and team spirit. With sore muscles from the day before, but with big smiles on their faces, the entire workforce finally made their way back the next day – ready to get back to work, but with the knowledge that they are unbeatable as a team.
