Successful Long Night of Apprenticeship

Excellent atmosphere and great demand during the Long Night of the Apprenticeship at Langzauner. Around 250 interested people visited Langzauner and took advantage of the opportunity to inform themselves about the various apprenticeships and other cool jobs.

The visitors’ trail started with a short presentation about the company Langzauner. It was shown that Langzauner, in addition to metal and woodworking machines, specialises in automation lines and composite presses. Our employees then guided the visitors through the company, where all departments were presented – from the software department to production. In each of these departments, the areas of activity and tasks were explained. .

For illustration, there were different stations. There, it was shown how welding or machining is done. In the electrical engineering department, a control cabinet was set up where the prospective apprentices could try out wiring and soldering. The young people accepted the opportunity very well to bend prefabricated metal sheets into small model cars, which of course could be taken along. In addition, the vacuum motors were presented, which each apprentice builds at the end of his apprenticeship as part of a project.

After the guided tours, the apprentices and the apprentice trainers answered open questions about the apprenticeship and the various activities. Especially the apprenticeship with higher school certificate was a big topic.

But also the physical well-being did not come too briefly. After the many impressions, the interested people were offered to eat sausages and drinks. Thus, many interesting conversations about the company and the career opportunities at Langzauner were held in a cosy atmosphere.

The stream of visitors did not stop until the end. We are delighted that so many people visited us and made this event something special.
