WET PRESS SYSTEMS FOR SPECIAL APPLICATIONS
IN PLASTIC PROCESSING
Langzauner produces and develops turnkey wet molding press systems in various sizes and configuration levels. All systems are precisely tailored to the customers’ needs.
Our presses are also convincing in the special segment of wet moulding: In this process for the production of fibre-reinforced plastics, liquid reactive resins or other plastics in liquid form are processed together with fibres in one mould. Resin, PUR or PA systems are usually used, which are mixed from two or more components to form a reactive liquid plastic and then applied and moulded flat onto fibre mats (preform). The plastic is distributed throughout the mould cavity by the closing process of the mould under the pressure of the press and wets the reinforcing fibres. Afterwards, the plastic/resin is cured under temperature.
