That was the open day on April 6, 2024 –
100 years of Langzauner
On Saturday, April 6, 2024, Langzauner GmbH opened its doors to the public to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary. The anniversary was celebrated with an open day, where the families and friends of the employees and the regional community were invited to take a look behind the scenes of the renowned mechanical engineering company.
In beautiful spring weather, visitors had the opportunity to take part in guided tours of the company, where they were able to get to know Langzauner’s advanced production facilities and technologies. The guests were also impressed by the spacious and friendly offices and the modern and inviting company restaurant.
There were also special activities for the younger visitors. They could let off steam in the jumping castle or have fun at the painting table. From face painting to balloon modeling, there was something for everyone – there was never a dull moment!
The neighboring sports club provided food and drink. The Eggerding footballers and tennis players were kept busy by the huge crowds, and by the end of the day they had fed around 2300 visitors!
Towards the end of the event, the entire party was treated to a musical surprise. The Eggerding Music Ensemble marched in with around 50 musicians to congratulate the management around Thomas and Erwin Witzmann on this special anniversary.
All in all, the 100th anniversary celebration was a complete success. The event not only showcased the company’s technological expertise, but also its commitment to the community. Langzauner also presented itself as an attractive employer in the Innviertel region.
