Review of LIGNA 2019

The world’s leading trade fair for the woodworking and processing industry is over for this year. The trend at the fair this year was towards automation and preparation for industry 4.0 in the wood sector.

Langzauner showed at the trade fair proven woodworking machines, such as edge sanding machines and through-feed milling and profile sanding machines in a modular system. In particular, the through-feed milling and profile sanding machines (LZK-SD) were specially developed for production lines. Sensibly arranged units enable cost-effective and efficient edge and profile processing.

The latest development from Langzauner is a processing line for prefabricated house panels, which was presented to the international public at the exhibition stand. In addition to various transport and processing paths, it includes a hydraulic multi-daylight press for pressing wall elements for premium prefabricated houses. The pressing pressure is calculated and adjusted fully automatically.

Langzauner’s successful trade fair results also show that the exhibits they brought with them were sold during the fair.
